Initiative Ideas
A young female original from Maungdaw, Rakhine State, founded YCBC in September 2018. The main reason that YCBC was formed was due to the inner depression of the Founder and the political instability in Rakhine State since 2012 as she had experienced many difficulties in obtaining economic pathways and higher education. After her personal experience, she developed an idea to make it easier for young people and vulnerable communities of the new generation to easily enhance their abilities in the future without experiencing the challenges she faced. Moreover, YCBC was built up in bonding with interested alumni when she shared the idea with the participants when she attended the class at the Strategic Planning For Change in Yangon.

The Journey
Since April 2018, The Founder has been seeking the youths who interest her ideas and to involve as a part of the team to make her dreams come true. She met two or three youths at class at Strategic Planning For Change in Yangon who were interested and agreed to establish the youth organization for vulnerable communities and underprivileged youths around Myanmar. The two Co-Founders and Founder were committed and decided to establish a non-profit youth organization for underprivileged youth around Myanmar in September 2018. Those three young females were starting to set up a non-profit organization which is called Youth Capacity Building Center (YCBC). Then, They designed a standard organizational foundation strategic plan from 2018 to 2023 for YCBC as an initial stage of YCBC.
